Director's Cut

Children work together to write, produce, and star in a movie of their very own creation. Once the filming is complete, each child will personally edit the film to his or her liking having full creative control of which scenes make it into the final edit.

Skills Developed: Video Editing, Sound Editing, Adding Special Effects, Adding Video Transitions, File Management, Filming techniques, Camera Angles, Script Writing, Acting and Directing.

Sample Activities: Filming two separate sequences and making it look like they were shot together. Shooting a film out of sequence. Adding sound effects and a soundtrack.
